Digital Skills Passport for Senior
We are thrilled to announce the launch of an innovative project aimed at enhancing digital literacy among seniors, funded through our first submission to the Erasmus+ program alongside our esteemed partners Società Umanitaria and Fondazione Sviluppo Europa Onlus, with strategic guidance from ABF. This project is designed to bridge the digital divide and foster an inclusive digital future for all ages.
Project Objectives:
- Skill Development: Equipping trainers with the necessary digital competencies to effectively educate seniors.
- Course Offerings: Launching the “Digital Skills Passport for Senior” course to help seniors navigate the digital world, promoting active ageing and boosting participation in societal and democratic activities.
- European Collaboration: Expanding our reach and enhancing our European perspective through collaboration with our partners and by integrating into the broader European vision of digital inclusivity.
Project Implementation:
- Trainer Courses: Implementing targeted training for trainers to enable them to deliver custom digital literacy programs for seniors.
- Senior Engagement: Offering courses directly to seniors, empowering them with the skills needed for today’s digital challenges.
Anticipated Outcomes:
- Enhanced Digital Literacy: Trainers will be well-equipped to use digital technologies in educational settings for seniors.
- Certification for Seniors: Seniors will gain access to training and certification in digital skills, promoting lifelong learning and digital participation.
- Stronger Partnerships: Strengthening cooperation among associations, civil society, the private sector, and public bodies, paving the way for future collaborative projects.
